Founded in 2010, Utah Women in Trades (UWIT) is dedicated to increasing the number of individuals pursuing and succeeding in non-traditional building and construction trades. Our mission is to support people in these industries by offering education through apprenticeship programs, conducting outreach and retention initiatives, providing mentoring, celebrating successes, and offering encouragement and hope to future generations.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone entering the construction trades can work in a safe and supportive environment, free from harassment and discrimination. Our goal is to empower individuals to thrive in trades careers, fostering a more diverse workforce. Through our efforts, we aim to pave the way for future generations to build, create, and succeed in the trades.
